AGENDA

  • 1924, Einstein Discovers a Completely New Type of Phase Transition in an Ideal Quantum Gas.
  • Experimental Realisation 1995 in an Ultra-Cold Atomic Gas.
  • 2010 Bose-Einstein Condensation in a Photon Gas.
  • Photon Condensation Might Explain the Materialization after the Big Bang.
  • BEC is a New Means of Coherence of Laser-type.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Why Bose-Einstein Condensation is an unprecented surprise taking 70 years to be realized.
  • How its Potential Ranges from Atomic Physics, Quantum Optics and Measuring Technics to Cosmology, and Biology.
  • Why we need New Physics Textbooks.
