In 2022, the next step of the complex conception of the Theodor-Billroth-Academy (TBA®), and its International Consortium of Research Excellence (INCORE), was realized:
- creation of a foundation
- 501 c (3) non-profit organization
- founded in the US
- on May 5, 2022 – at the 35th anniversary of Sacramento Big Day of Giving
to support studies of the development and spread of cancer goal to transform cancer research from a symptom-orientated approach to a cause-based approach
